At the heart of our institution is the Ihsan Qard Hasan – BIC Project Financing Model, a distinctive Shariah-compliant private lending framework.
Unlike conventional finance, and even unlike traditional Islamic banking structures such as Murabaha, Musharaka, or Istisna — BIC is structured as a benevolent capital model rooted in Qard Hasan principles.
How It Works
- Capital Trustees provide full project funding.
- No interest (riba) is charged.
- No compulsory profit-sharing is imposed.
- The borrower returns only the principal amount.
The intention of our capital providers is not profit maximization. It is impact multiplication.
Upon successful completion, borrowers may, voluntarily and in good faith, contribute back to the BIC pool in the spirit of Islamic ethics. Those funds are then recycled into new impactful projects, creating a sustainable cycle of benevolent capital deployment.
